Returns Policy

Returns and Exchanges:

As all of The Adaptable Bee DIY beeswax kits and wrap sets are designed to be used on food items. We cannot offer refunds, returns or exchanges as a result of change-of-mind. We only refund or replace defective or damaged products.

 

Faulty Goods:

To organise a refund or replacement of faulty goods please supply proof of purchase and a description within 14 days of purchase and/or photo (at our request) of the fault. In some cases we may need faulty goods to be returned to us for further inspection to determine whether it was a manufacturing/design fault or purchaser negligence. Once a determination has been made and if identified that it was a manufacturing or design fault, The Adaptable Bee will either replace or refund the faulty item.

 

Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

Late or missing refunds:

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

 

Sale items:

Only regular priced items that have a fault or the product is defective may be refunded, unfortunately sale items (i.e. discount basket items) cannot be refunded.

 

Broken or damaged goods:

All The Adaptable Bee goods are individually packed with the utmost care. Sadly on rare occasions goods can be damaged in transit so if this happens please advise us within 72 hours of receiving the goods. Provide photos of the damaged goods and the packaging and email these to info@theadaptablebee.co.za We will contact you within 3 business days and offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement.

To request a refund or replacement please send an email to info@theadaptablebee.co.za within 14 days of purchase.

 

Shipping:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you, may vary. You assume the risk of lost, theft or damage during transit. The Adaptable Bee is not responsible for lost or damaged goods during transit. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
