Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 5 – 7 working days.

We ship orders in weekly batches usually on a Tuesday, due to the fact that we are based 50km from the nearest drop off / collection point, but make exceptions (where possible) for large orders. As soon as your order is ready you will be notified of the next shipping date.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Please note that we add an extra R10.00 to cover the Pudo shipping box for your order.

We are not held responsible for incorrect delivery details that are provided, so please ensure that you complete the delivery details correctly on checkout. If your order needs to be resent due to incorrect delivery details you will be reliable for all costs Involved.

Shipment

We make use of the PUDO locker system. Delivery is very easy and explained below in more detail.

Courier with PUDO

The PUDO system is super easy to use. You can choose between two options.

  1. Ship to a PUDO locker if you are not home at set times and wish to pick up your parcel at your convenience. Lockers are usually reserved up to 24 hours but you will receive an SMS from them with a PIN and expiry date for the locker. You use the PIN to open the door containing your parcel.
  2. Ship straight to your door. If you know you will be home when you are expecting the parcel, you can simply add your address and you will have your parcel within 3 – 5 days.

This is an example of what the lockers look like. They are stationed all over South Africa. Simply download the PUDO app on your phone or visit their website to find your closest locker.

A waybill tracking number will be supplied to you via email once the parcel has been shipped and you can track it here. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays.

Shipping Delays

Unforeseen circumstances like adverse weather, load shedding, hijacking, strikes or supplier issues could prolong the delivery time. It’s rare, but it can happen. Late delivery is not grounds for refund or cancellation of already shipped orders but if you are in any way concerned about the current location of your parcel and ETA of delivery, please contact us with your order number so that we can follow up for you.

Damages

All The Adaptable Bee goods are individually packed with the utmost care. Sadly on rare occasions goods can be damaged in transit so if this happens please advise us within 72 hours of receiving the goods. Provide photos of the damaged goods and the packaging and email these to info@theadaptablebee.co.za We will contact you within 3 business days and offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement.
